When it comes to existing home insulation projects, Spray foam insulation is the smarter, more convenient choice and offers a wide range of benefits that other insulation solutions can’t match.
Spray Foam Insulation resists heat transfer, is energy-efficient, & very durable. Having your existing home insulated with Spray Foam helps to create a more comfortable environment by keeping you cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter.
For crawl spaces we extract any existing insulation and reinsulate with a closed cell foam on the sub floor leaving 3-4 inches exposed of floor joists for termite inspection. Closed cell is used in a crawl space because it is an air and vapor barrier to the home which helps prevent mold growth; it is sprayed directly on subfloor. 2-3 inches is all that is needed on a sub floor because you are at 98% efficiency on your heat retention and reflection at that point, so it is pointless to add more after 2-3 inch depth when using closed cell.
According to the Department of Energy, the average American spends $2,000 each year for their energy bills. Their studies have shown that a potential $200-$400 of that average could be going to waste due to drafts or air leaks!
Spray Foam Insulation has the has the ability to prevent energy loss through your walls.
